studio grand opening

So the grand opening for Shake It! Studio fell on Sunday morning, 21st September 2014. It was a huge success and everyone had a great time!

We are so blessed to have so many family and friends who helped and supported us all along the way and came to the opening to make it so much fun! We were given so many practical and useful gifts, beautiful flowers and also yummy food for the event!

Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts! None of this would be possible without this wonderful network of support!

test run

On the eve of the studio opening, we did a test run as rehearsal and to ensure that everything was working properly. Lights and sound system especially.

Our Zumba family came to support us and to become our 'students' for the test run! Thank you guys for being there for us!

Shake It! Studio

I never had any intention of having our own fitness studio. But when one of our Zumba buddies brought me a long to see a potential location, we fell in love with the place!

We had visions of a gorgeous studio where we could continue to spread the love of Zumba and inspire others towards health and happiness, the way we were inspired at Exhilarate Fitness Studio!

So that's where it began. An idea that ran wild and gave birth to Shake It! Studio! A partnership between 6 of us.

From the procurement of the location, things progressed at breakneck speed. Renovation was done and the grand opening was scheduled for 21st September 2014. It was an exciting, adrenaline filled month, full of meetings and WhatsApp chats that went past midnight!

Zumba happenings

So many things happening in my Zumba world! I've definitely left the cake world now that all my time is taken up by Zumba!

The easiest way is to use pictures to tell the story. So here goes!

We had a potluck party to celebrate the lantern festival.

Then a few of us embarked on a "Zumba tour"! Lol! Starting with the Graffiti Concert in Singapore.

The concert was a blast! A great experience indeed!

Next up was attending the Zumba Kids instructor training in Singapore with the amazingly fun George Iu!

We learnt a lot and are now licensed to teach Zumba Kids and Zumba Kids Jr.

While the rest went home, Linda and I continued to KL for Zumba Toning instructor training.
